Weerna — Privacy Policy

Weerna ("the app") is a digital wardrobe and virtual try-on app operated by Daniel Vinojčić ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data we collect

• Photos you add — your full-body photo and photos of your clothes. These are the core of the service: they are stored privately and used to catalogue your wardrobe and generate try-on images of you wearing your own clothes.
• Generated images — the try-on renders created for you.
• Wardrobe data — item attributes (category, colour, fabric, warmth and similar), outfits, your ratings of looks, and when you wear an item.
• Account data — your email address, or the identifier Apple or Google provides if you sign in with them. It is used only to sign you in and keep your closet available across devices.
• Approximate location — to suggest weather-appropriate outfits, the app looks up city-level location from your IP address (via ipapi.co) and fetches the local weather (via Open-Meteo). The app never accesses your device's GPS location, and this approximate location is not stored.
• Subscription status — if you subscribe, billing is handled entirely by Apple. We receive only your subscription status (via RevenueCat), never your payment details.

How photos are processed

To tag garments, suggest outfits and generate try-on images, your photos and garment details are processed by AI services acting on our behalf: Google (Gemini API) and fal.ai, which runs the image models, including OpenAI’s. They are used only to produce your results and are not used to train models on our instruction, shown to other users, sold, or used for advertising.

Where data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (our hosting provider) in access-controlled, private storage. Images are only reachable through short-lived signed links tied to your account.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not access your camera or photo library without your permission.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — photos, wardrobe, generated images — at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account & data. Deletion is immediate. An active subscription is billed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in your Apple account settings.

Children

Weerna is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
